It's not just the bars that are right sized for kids: Regular energy bars can have up to 24 grams of protein, almost a child's entire daily requirement, and have vitamins added based on adult needs. Can Do Kid bars has nine grams of protein and approximately 25 to 30 percent of a child's RDA of 17 essential vitamins.
Many adult bars also have trans fats or high fructose corn syrup instead of natural and organic ingredients. Finally, kids just don't like the taste of many adult bars. That's why Can Do Kid bars:

As a California mother of three small children, ages, 5, 8, and 9, Deborah Luster states, "We developed the bar out of necessity. As a mom on the go, I need a healthy snack my children will eat. Deborah conducted numerous focus groups with kids ages 5-11, including her daughter's fifth grade class, to fine-tune the ingredients and the packaging. The packaging is colorful, with purple, yellow and red.
