Girls on the Run: Family Fun Run
Saturday, May 21, 2005, 9am at Blackie's Pasture in Tiburon, CA
Can Do Kid, Inc. will be sponsoring the Marin County Girls on the Run and passing out delicious samples of their new Can Do Kid nutrition bars.
The Girls on the Run program is a nationwide program that helps promote strong girls ages 3rd - 8th grades, preparing them for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living.
Mothers and daughters run together and families are encouraged to participate! Over 500 runners are expected to attend this race, and the Can Do Kids will be there! For more information visit www.gotrmarin.com. Hope to see you there!
The Marin Human Race

Over 5,000 people participated in this race that benefitted non-profits all over Marin County, and the Can Do Kids were out in force! This marked the debut of the Can Do Kid nutrition bar, which was greeted with enthusiasm by race participants.

'Fun Raiser' for Tsunami Relief
Date: March 6, 2005
This fun event, filled with families, facepainting, a magician, and Miss Kitty, raised over $900 for tsunami victims.
Organized by Deborah Luster, President of Can Do Kid, Inc., and Lily Canter, owner of the Mill Valley Kids & company, the event also marked the launch of the Mill Valley chapter of Can Do Kid.
Mill Valley Vice Mayor cliff Waldek graced the event with his presence, and presented Can Do Kid with an official mayoral proclamation from the City of Mill Valley, commending Can Do Kid and asking 'all of Mill Valley to help inspire kids of all ages to live by the Can Do credo.'
