Can Do Kid Programs
At Can Do Kid Inc. we support events, companies and organizations that promote healthy children and a CAN DO attitude. Here are some of the ways we do this:
School / Nonprofit Fundraiser Program
Our Fundraiser program helps schools and non profits raise money for events, programs and scholarships.
How does the program work? Non profits and schools (or different classes from a school) can have a school fundraiser using our Can Do Kid Nutrition Bars, buying them from us at the discount price of $0.75 per bar and selling them at $1.50 per bar. We sell the fundraiser bars by the case (180 bars). Schools pay for the case(s) upon receipt, then can sell the bars to raise money for school trips or events, non-profit organizations of their choice, or scholarship programs.
Who is eligible? Schools, school groups or nonprofit organizations raising money for a non-profit or school-related event. Can Do Kid, Inc. asks for the purpose of the fundraiser prior to approval.
How many bars can a group receive? After approval, as many as they wish to buy and then sell. Participating groups must agree that all bar proceeds will benefit the stated fundraising goal.
How do groups apply to this program? Send an email to us at Programs@IAmACanDoKid.com describing the school or organization and the purpose of the fundraiser. Schools cover shipping or delivery costs.
What groups have done this so far, and what results have they seen? This is a fairly new program, but is being promoted by the California Association of Student Councils in California so we expect to see many more results like the following:
- Wilson School in Petaluma has already raised $500 for the Heifer Foundation, with a goal of $1,500!
- Edna Maguire 5th Graders are raising money for their Walker Creek trip
- Edna Maguire sold the bars at their book fair to raise money for their library
CAN DO Community Links Program
Our CAN DO Community Links program highlights CAN DO businesses and organizations by linking to them from our community links section. We limit this list to 20 at a time, but rotate its contents regularly.

- Your company or organization's name and website address
- How your organization helps promote healthy children, benefits your local community, or encourages a CAN DO attitude!
Ongoing CAN DO Award Nominations
We've received so many inspiring stories of kids and adults with Can Do attitudes, we've decided to create a new space on our site to post their stories and photos.
If you or someone you know deserves recognition for their CAN DO attitude, please email us with this information to nominate them:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your nominee's first name, email address, state of residence and photo (photo is optional)
- How your nominee has promoted healthy children, benefited their local community, or displayed or encouraged a CAN DO attitude!
Please note: nominees must give their permission to have their photo, first name and story displayed on our site. Nominees age 17 and under must provide the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
